Bosgård School is located close to both the community and nature in Tvååker, approximately 15 km southeast of Varberg town. Here, around 620 students and about 80 staff gather in one of Varberg's largest primary schools.

In our facilities, children and young people have the opportunity to develop alongside their peers while having the entire range of students from preschool class to grade 9 nearby.

Our educators work collegially every week on teaching development in several different areas to adjust our teaching to ensure it is as beneficial as possible for our students. Our goal is to be a school accessible to all students where they can develop as far as possible towards both social and academic goals. Safety and well-being are important focuses that always lie at the forefront of planning all teaching.

As we are currently facing a renovation of Bosgård School, we are temporarily located centrally in Varberg during this period.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

You will teach the subject of craft, specifically wood and metal, and textiles. You will have a clear leadership style focused on building trusting relationships with your students.

Motivating and inspiring students is your greatest drive. Together with your colleagues, you will shape a relational leadership style where the quality of teaching is the focus. We create the best possible meeting for learning.

As a teacher with us at Varberg Municipality, you play a central role in creating a safe, developing, and motivating environment for the students. By planning, implementing, and following up on your varied teaching, you provide students with the opportunity to develop both academically and socially.

Together with your colleagues, you plan and follow up on the teaching based on your choices of pedagogical and didactic strategies and methods, adapted to the students' needs and conditions, and grounded in research and proven experience. You meet each student in their knowledge progression and contribute to developing learning environments that encourage students' learning, participation, and influence.

QUALIFICATIONS

Qualified teacher in craft for grades 3-9.

As a teacher, you are engaged and have a formative approach with the ability to create motivating and activating teaching. Your teaching is based on proven experience and scientific principles with an exploratory approach.

You thrive in collaboration with colleagues and actively contribute to developing the operations by planning and following up on teaching together. You have a good structure in your work and can adapt teaching based on the students' needs and the school's goals. Together, we are responsible for creating a sustainable work environment where both students and staff feel good, can grow, and develop.
